You can download a freeware of a demonstration version of the system from our site.

The Demo version contains a full information set for two genera: Ervum (12 species) and Lupinaster (8 species), including 32 b/w images, 20 maps, two colour illustrations for the species Lupinaster albus and Lupinaster eximius, and a restricted introductory text. The Demo version does not contain multilayer maps.

You can get the demo version in the following ways:

1. Download a single self-extracting archive LEGDEMO.EXE (2,175 Kb); or
2. Download a multivolume archive (if you do not have a good connection to the Internet):
   • Part #1 LEGDEMO.ARJ (360 Kb);
   • Part #2 LEGDEMO.A01 (360 Kb);
   • Part #3 LEGDEMO.A02 (360 Kb);
   • Part #4 LEGDEMO.A03 (360 Kb);
   • Part #5 LEGDEMO.A04 (360 Kb);
   • Part #6 LEGDEMO.A05 (360 Kb);
   • Part #7 LEGDEMO.A06 (16 Kb);

1. Create the directory C:\LEGDEMO;
2. Copy archive files (or a file) taken from our site into the directory;
3. Extract files from the archive. For this purpose:
   • If you have taken the single self-extracting archive, just start the file LEGDEMO.EXE;
   • If you have taken the multivolume archive ARJ, use the command ARJ.EXE X -V LEGDEMO.ARJ to open it;
4. Among extracted files, find the file (C)RIGHT and copy it into the root directory on the disc C:;
5. Run the program LEGUMES.EXE.

If you want to install the demo version into another directory on the drive, then you need to change the program options in an appropriate way in the file LEGUMES.INI. For information on parameter contents in this file, see: Description of the file LEGUMES.INI.
